REGINA WOLEK, Freelance Picture Editor/Shoot Producer
I have extensive experience in shoot commissioning, production and art direction as well as picture research, working with some of the best photographers and hair and make-up artists. My international contact book is crammed with renowned photographers, model agencies, press offices, location companies, set builders, picture libraries and news agencies. My excellent communication skills (fluent in English and German plus basic French), powers of organization, energy and creativity enable me to achieve a consistently high standard of work, whether I am sourcing images to a tight deadline and budget or producing a high profile photo shoot.

EXPERIENCE
Up until July 2007 I was Photo Director for FHM UK where I worked for 11 years, progressing from Picture Researcher to Picture Editor and finally Photo Director. Responsible for the look of the magazine, I organized and art-directed all celebrity and cover stories as well as producing portrait, still life and reportage shoots. As a freelance picture researcher I've worked at The Telegraph Magazine, The Independent (Special Projects), Stella, Red, Psychologies, Eve, Time Out Travel Guides and Story Worldwide – a contract publisher working on publications such as Bluewater, Lexus and Airlines International (IATA). I also worked on UK at Home – a photo documentary book on modern living in the UK – for which I sourced suitable participants and set up photo shoots.
